Client Team

One of the World’s Largest Global Accounts for this Fortune 500 – Global IT Consultancy, Systems Integrator and Outsourcer:

Clarity Associates coached the Corporate Vice President/Account CEO and nine Vice Presidents of this organisation’s largest global account, employing some 2,000+ people.

This organisation’s client is a major UK government department.

Following an assessment of some of the sales and client team members and senior account leaders, Clarity Associates undertook a leadership development and high-performance team coaching programme of these 10 senior executives (VP level and above), utilising a combination of account planning and execution workshops; leadership training and team coaching workshops; and the one-to-one executive coaching of all revenue generating leadership team members. The programme was designed to implement the new learning and agreed actions springing from the account planning workshops in the field, and to accelerate the performance of the leadership team against their agreed annual objectives. Due to the Covid-19 situation, these team workshops and one to one coaching sessions were delivered on-line.

An important factor in this coaching programme, was to coach the leadership team on how to support their client, who was playing a leading role in the UK Government’s response to Covid-19 and Brexit.

The coaching supported the leaders in:

  • Engaging with their client stakeholders in a more sophisticated way to better understand and support their needs.
  • Implementing their learning gained from the structured workshops.
  • Identifying and implementing more effective ways of working.
  • Delegating successfully through their direct reports to execute against their performance targets.
  • Building, managing, and closing their sales pipelines.
  • Successfully implementing a more comprehensive and joined up client stakeholder management process.
  • Identifying and executing actions required to effectively deliver to their agreed business goals.
  • More effectively collaborating as a team, to share ideas and resolve issues and support each other in the overall team’s joint goals.

The outputs of the coaching programme included:

  • Improved team collaboration and effectiveness in working together.
  • Improved team performance against agreed objectives and targets.
  • Enhanced client relationships – in being able to support the client through Covid-19 and Brexit, to support the UK Government.
